All wrapped up
Aaaah, what a lovely feeling it is to sit here typing, safe in the knowledge that not only have I finished my Christmas shopping, but I’ve just finished wrapping them all as well *big grin*
Many many moons ago I was one of those stereotype typical fellas who would leave my Christmas shopping until Christmas eve, as if somehow thriving or even perversely enjoying the crazy hustle and bustle of trying to get the job done by 7pm – so that I could ‘hit the town’ for a festive beer. Gawd I’m so glad those days are waaaaaaay behind me now, preferring to take pleasure in seeing everyone else marauding around like lunatics trying to get ‘the’ gift for whomever (which usually ends up being the wrong size/colour and upsetting her indoors).
