I’ve been running today for the first time in about a fortnight and my dodgy knee feels somewhat erm, well, dodgy still. Nevertheless it was good to dust the sand off my running shoes and go for a 25 minute run along the beach in front of County Hall in Swansea. The pouring rain also made it that little bit more fun, as I love running in the rain – which is no doubt the complete opposite to what most people will say!
If anyone remembers me mentioning that I’d sent the Western Mail a few snaps for their Gower AONB coverage last week, then I’m pleased to report that they actually published two of my pictures (even though they got my name wrong on both – i.e. totally the wrong person!).
They used my Caswell Bay snap featuring DDWT Junior and my Llangennith beach one (with Worm’s Head in the distance). The latter can be seen below, in this scanned image from Saturday’s paper.
And just to prove that the picture is mine, here’s the original below *smile*
To crown it all, I even managed to get my mugshot (albeit a very grainy one – the picture I mean) in today’s Evening Post, courtesty of being at the Swans game yesterday.
