It was another gloriously sunny day here in Swansea today and thankfully another 3 points in the bag for the Swans after a well deserved 1 nil win against the Bantams of Bradford.
Just as important as the points at the moment is the peformance and I’m glad to report that the Swans seem to be improving week by week. Perhaps the new signings are beginning to gel at long last! I’m glad that Kenny gave Bayo a start and he once again made a telling contribution – other notable performances came from Denis Lawrence (again), Tatey and Butler (his best game in a Swans shirt to date). LT10 also gets a mention, simply because I’m finding myself getting increasingly infuriated by his lazy work ethic on the pitch – a class act he may be, but at the moment he’s not delivering the goods and needs to sort his head out.
Anyway, the all important goal came courtesy of Andy Robinson (fresh from the bench) and he gave the team a bit of drive and direction, when it looked as though the Bantams were beginning to take control. A well deserved 3 points overall though even if the scoreline flattered Bradford somewhat (Bayo was guilty of missing a guilt-edged chance in the 1st half).
