Grumpy with capital G

September 24, 2006

After being in bed since around 8pm last night I’m back in the land of the living today. Mrs DDWT was pleased as my attention and concentration span had increased tenfold overnight!!

Not such good news on the weighing front though. 16st 12lbs was the tale of the scale today and somehow I’ve managed to GAIN 3lbs in a week – quite a remarkable achievement considering how much biking I’ve done. Maybe the wine from Belfast has taken more of a toll on me than I think or the weighing scales are having a touch of paranoia.

Very disappointed and grumpy now because of it! As a result (and still being tired) we didn’t do jack squat all day, so it was wasted really – which makes me even more grumpy as I hate wasting time doing nothing (as that isn’t my idea of relaxing IYSWIM).
