Nothing major to report today from the house of DDWT really. This morning DDWT Junior and I paid a visit to Nana’s and as usualy ended up ramsacking the house in the search for my old toys! Not to mention bringing a few of them home with us. It’s great though to think that my son is actually playing with some of the toys that I had as a nipper – cool.
The afternoon was spent shopping mainly in Dolland and Aitchisons, Tesco and Borders. D&A was quite funny really as Mrs DDWT bought some decent glasses as I politely told the shop assistant that we “shouldn’t have gone to Specsavers” – a wry smile and no comment followed.
We finally tracked down some sparklers in Tesco’s and then lit a few of them outside for DDWT Junior to admire through the patio doors.
I’m suffering from weary limbs today and I think the old training has taken a toll on me this week – so I’ve decided to take the weekend off from training and give my body a well earned rest.
