Sent home

February 13, 2007

With my cold beginning to take a hold on me today, my stint in work was rather short lived as I got sent packing by the bossman and the office girlies – mainly for fear of infecting them with my germs. Charming eh. I mean what sort of rest or recuperation am I likely to get at home with the marauding DDWT Junior about *smile*

The surprise of seeing his daddy home at lunchtime rather than the usual 6pm was greated with much pleasure and excitement and for me it was a lovely tonic as I really did feel like sh*t. An afternoon snooze soon followed – which was bliss!

The downside of any afternoon kip though as I’m sure most of you will agree, is the fact that you can’t get to sleep at night time then. Which is why I’m blogging now rather than sleeping.
