Weight loss

Well a lack of weight loss actually. The usual Sunday morning routine of stripping off starkers and trudging along to the bathroom – home of our weighing scales – is beginning to get me a little bit cheesed off. Not because of the routine, but becuase I can’t seem to shift the pounds at the moment. Grrrrrr.

I’ve been around the 16st 10lbs mark on and off for a good few weeks now – which is bugging me to say the least. Having been 16st 4lbs over the Christmas period I’m not happy with the fact that I’ve gained 6 lbs.

I suppose it’s understandable though as my eating habits haven’t been as stringent as they were pre-Christmas and my training certainly has’t been at the same intensity. So I’ve no-one to blame but myself – so a kick up the arse is long overdue I think, don’t you?

Thankfully with my parents visiting us for the best part of the day, I didn’t have the time to wallow in my self pity for very long and the house of DDWT was spared a miserable Sunday in the company of moi.
