Welcome company

November 8, 2007

I somehow managed to go out running again today – buoyed somewhat by the fact that I had company for a change I guess. It has been a while since I last went for a run with Razor, but it was good to have him along and as usual he provided me with a usual yardstick as to my preparation for the upcoming 10k.

Our time of 29 minutes and 39 seconds saw us take in SA1 for a change and added a much needed change in scenery from my recent runs. It also meant that I wasn’t concentrating on how hot and red in the face I felt! Mind you the strong wind and occasional drop of rain merely added to the ‘beetroot’ effect, the wind also made it feel that at times like we were running on the spot!
