The pain goes on

December 4, 2007

I decided to try going for a run earlier to see how my knee would hold up – having rested it (from running) for the last 9 days. Unfortunately, I only managed 17 minutes 42 seconds before having to give it up. So now it really is a case of NOT doing any running for quite some time to give my knee ample time to to recover.

What’s frustrating is that whilst I’m already feeling the pain from just a short run, yesterday’s 14 mile bike ride didn’t have any after effects. I’m not the most patient of people – as those who know me will confirm – but this whole knee injury episode is pushing my frustration levels to the limit.

Hopefully the Swans game tonight will provide me with some cheer or at least that’s what I’m hoping!
