Sweltering heat

May 8, 2008

I went for a run in the sweltering heat this lunchtime and am I glad I decided to wear a running vest for a change!

The 20 minutes 18 seconds route over the dunes and along the jetty was tough going mainly because of the sheer heat.  I’m amazed I didn’t actually burn in the midday sun – which normally happens – but thankfully I managed to escape the ‘lobster effect’ this time.

I’m also glad to report that DDWT Junior much better again 🙂
