Another step forward

July 1, 2008

Continuing with my theme of trying to get my life routine back to normal after the past month or so, I went for a lunchtime run today.

It was pretty and it probably wasn’t effective, but at least it was a step forward and more importantly got me at least a wee bit of the way back into what I call my ‘normal’ routine.

Unfortunately, my preferred running weather – the rain – which had been promised never materialised (well not yet anyway) and I was forced to endure a hot, humid and rather breezy 14 minute 4 second run.

Upon returning to the changing rooms, it was quite refreshing to hear everyone else feeling pretty much the same as me.

It’s onwards and upwards from here 🙂
